Similarly to the Karlovic match in San Jose, Roddick's serve was just too strong to overcome. After 77 minutes, Roddick came out on top 76 64. BB's last three ATP losses (to Blake, Karlovic and Roddick) have all come down one break of serve and some big tiebreaker points. He is close to making a breakthrough.
